Creating an "Add to Calendar" option from a Google Calendar event
Allow members to add important to their own calendars utilizing Google Calendar
Help your members stay on top of events by adding them to their personal calendars. Easily allow your members to add an event on their personal calendar with all the unique details.
Due to a mobile redirection error, mobile users may receive a blank event. If this is happening, you'll need to utilize a third party application like Labnol (this one is free!)
How this works:
By utilizing Google's option to publish an event, you can create a link that will allow anyone who clicks on the link to create a copy of the event on their personal calendar.
Start by creating the event exactly as you want it copied on your or your church's public event calendar. From here, you'll go to Actions and Publish. Copy the link option and utilize this in any URL location.
